How to choose a pair of riding pants
Before choosing one of the many different models offered by Sonnenreiter, take a little time to consider various options and compare those to your specific needs and preferences.

Breeches
Sonnenreiter offers breeches, which can be worn with dressage boots or half chaps. Stylish details, like in the dual color model, clearly distinguish Sonnenreiter breeches from other brands.

Jodhpurs
Since the beginning, Sonnenreiter has been the trendsetter for a more flattering look with their flared jodhpur cut. The figure-balancing flare looks good on the horse as well as "on the ground". Fashion comes with great functionality in Sonnenreiter jods. No need for chaps or long boots to protect your legs, as these pant's seat and inner legs are made from either genuine or high-quality synthetic leather.

Both types, breeches and jods, feature seamless inner legs, front zips, belt loops and different pockets. The flared models exhibit a fabric/rubber stirrup that is attached to the inside of the leg halfway up towards the knee. This strap prevents the riding-up of the lower leg region of the pants, but it allows for shoes and half high boots to fit nicely under the pants' leg.

High-quality synthetic leather vs. genuine leather
Full seat panels from synthetic leather help to obtain a well-balanced seat by providing a nice grip in the saddle and protect the skin of the inner leg from getting sore. Genuine leather panels have a similar effect, but the extend of grip and protection is even greater.

Recommendations for washing
All riding pants and other Sonnenreiter garments can be machine washed in cold to lukewarm water temperatures. For pants with genuine leather use a leather care detergent. For pants with synthetic leather seats use a gentle care detergent and do not use fabric softener. Please do not use bleach on any type pants and apply a delicate/slow spin speed program. Let all pants air-dry away from direct sun light. See also labels for instructions.
